ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Pippa, an inventor, designer, creative technologist, and producer based in Brooklyn. I create immersive experiences that invite engagement, provoke curiosity, and seamlessly merge the physical and digital worlds. With over five years of experience in fabrication, interactive systems, and audiovisual design, I specialize in bringing ambitious concepts to life with precision and ingenuity.
I excel at identifying patterns and uncovering connections across disciplines, transforming complex ideas into streamlined, tangible solutions. Whether developing generative visuals, engineering large-scale public art installations, or crafting interactive prototypes, I approach every project with resourcefulness, resilience, and a refined design aesthetic.
My background includes an MPS from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, where I explored the intersection of physical computing, design, and technology. Since then, I’ve worked on high-profile projects, including fabricating a two-story interactive installation and creating audiovisual systems for Norwegian Cruise Lines. I enjoy the challenge of solving intricate design problems while ensuring each piece is as engaging as it is accessible.
MY CAPABILITIES
Considerate and forward-thinking, I approach every project as an opportunity to innovate and elevate. I value collaboration and thrive in environments where cross-disciplinary ideas drive exceptional outcomes. If you’re looking for a designer who combines technical expertise with creative vision, let’s connect.
After spending over a year as a technical and screens producer at the LAB at Rockwell Group, I am currently freelancing as a creative director, design engineer, creative technologist, and interactive producer. I have worked on festivals such as Media Art Exploration: The Neuroverse, Warm Up at MoMA PS1, and Northside Media Festival, received grants from Tisch and ASCAP, and produced installations and performances at Beyond Basel during Miami Art Week 2023, Mana Contemporary, and the Atlantic Center for the Arts.
“Her ideas are enormous and highly ambitious in both conceptual and technical scope.
Pippa is one of the strongest organizers and managers of creative projects I have ever seen. Realizing these works were often accomplished through long hours invested into prototyping experimentation in the studio, met with extensive collaboration with a variety of students (lighting designers, programmers, theater techs, performers, and others). Fellow artists, engineers, and musicians believe in her work, and she seems to be most in her element when collaborating and building things with her creative community. She pulls up those around her, and the Bard music department was stronger, in credit to her work and collaborative drive.”

“she is an asset to any group or organization she is a part of—a capable, diligent, and intuitive human being.
I was immediately struck by Pippa’s clarity. I respect and appreciate her point of view, I think she has good taste, isn’t afraid to say what she thinks, and asks the right questions. Her insights and help are vital. Working with Pippa has been invaluably helpful to me as a colleague. I often forget that I am communicating with someone years my junior. For such a young person in such an ambiguous field, she had a strong sense of what she was interested in and gravitated towards, despite considerable uncertainty as to how to connect her interests in a viable way. She is also a good friend. I don’t say that lightly.
In conversation with Pippa about her professional and artistic ambitions, I see she is looking to bridge gaps. These gaps being, firstly, between artist objectives and technical skill, and also, between the vast and often cryptic world of sound art as a medium and its intended audience. I believe that Pippa is quite clear about what she wants to do and knows that to adeptly pursue this path, a deeper study is required. I admire her for answering this call.”
“her ability to evolve in learning situations is extraordinary
Working with Pippa as her boss has been nothing short of an incredible experience. She has proven herself to be reliable, whip-smart, and a backbone of the magazine since I met her. Pippa stands out in that she is very good at multitasking and hard-working. She always put the company first. As one of her mentors, I can attest that her ability to evolve in learning situations is extraordinary.
From the get-go, she was diligent, quick to learn, and superseded my expectations. It took Pippa a fraction of the time to do the same work it took others ages to complete. I jumped up the opportunity to work with her again and hired her. While at Tom Tom, Pippa learned new programs with ease, gracefully worked through administrative tasks, and was always busying herself with more than what I had asked her to do.
I’ve watched her grow and improve her skills as an artist, thinker, and all-around collaborator. She's become a part of the music community in NYC and is recognized by her peers here more and more. We have also since featured Pippa many times in our magazine for her artistry and musicianship. Her art and career are seamlessly together, and they seem to be inseparable from her. Pippa is a master at tackling new, creative adventures and fusing art, sound, and technology. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty and try new things.”
